Bookkeeper (AU and Xero Experience Required) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in AU and Xero to manage day-to-day financial tasks while working from home.

In Short

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records using the company’s accounting system.
• Handle supplier correspondence, including addressing inquiries, following up on invoices, and ensuring timely communication.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports, verifying account balances, and supporting the finance team.
• Support order administration functions, such as order processing, record-keeping, etc.
• Provide general support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with AU accounting standards and Xero software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for supplier correspondence.
• Experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
