In Short

• Fully remote position within the continental United States.
• Lead a team of 2-3 DevOps Engineers.
• Responsible for deploying, securing, and monitoring production, test, and development environments.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elastic is essential.
• Focus on engineering activities and managing direct reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support.
• Proactive problem-solving and leadership skills are required.
• Documentation and collaboration are key aspects of the role.
• Evening work required once a week during deployment windows.
• Travel limited to one or two trips a year to headquarters.

Requirements

• Practical experience in managing AWS accounts and production applications.
• Significant working experience with Elastic and other databases.
• Expert proficiency in CI/CD tooling and pipelines.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and EKS.
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and reliability best practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in software development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
