Overview

We are seeking a Backoffice Specialist to engage in meaningful banking practices and contribute to the development of Alternative Bank Switzerland and its backoffice operations.

In Short

  • Responsible for high-quality processing of daily operations in the backoffice team.
  • Achieve excellence in service quality and high customer satisfaction.
  • Guide and support colleagues within the team.
  • Document and further develop work processes for efficient organization.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements and handle external legal inquiries.
  • Develop and implement effective controlling and reporting tools.
  • Optimize internal control processes.
  • Contribute to the development of backoffice services and participate in projects.
  • Represent the department in internal and external meetings.
  • Train staff and supervise trainees.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training in banking, ideally with specialized further education.
  • Experience in customer onboarding and management of customer life cycles in retail.
  • Excellent knowledge of standard retail banking products and services.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the field.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
  • Passionate about complex challenges and quick understanding of key issues.
  • High affinity for application development and process digitization.
  • Very good German and good French language skills.
  • Strong service orientation focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Team-oriented, solution-focused, and engaging.
