Senior Accountant, International Accounting - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Twilio, you will play a key role in our International Accounting team, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations while collaborating with various departments to improve processes.

In Short

• Ownership of month-end close processes and account reconciliation.
• Management of International Accounting processes with BPO companies.
• Oversight of Fixed Asset, Prepayment, and accrual OPEX controls.
• Preparation of monthly flux analysis of balance sheet and P&L.
• Implementation of process improvements.
• Collaboration with multiple departments on global projects.
• Management of compliance and regulatory filings.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in technology.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Professional Accounting qualification is mandatory.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience in Accounting and Tax.
• Strong experience in month-end close and account reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory filing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in the Big Four is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle ERP Fusion and NetSuite is desirable.
