The Senior Nuclear Sector Manager will drive business development and strategic partnerships in the nuclear and fusion energy sectors, leveraging expertise to translate technical concepts into compelling business cases.

In Short

  • Identify and manage strategic commercial partnerships in nuclear energy.
  • Deliver a personal sales target of £2.5M+ per annum.
  • Develop actionable sales and partnership plans over a 3-5 year horizon.
  • Act as Key Account Manager for top nuclear sector clients.
  • Drive access to funding through innovation programmes.
  • Lead market and competitive intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to shape technical offers.
  • Represent TWI at major industry events and consortium meetings.
  • Ensure smooth handover and delivery with project managers.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of orders and revenues.

Requirements

  • Strong grasp of the UK and international energy ecosystem.
  • Experience in business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business cases.
  • Experience in sales and client management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad.
  • Experience in the nuclear or energy sectors is a plus.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Understanding of government and regulatory frameworks.
