Cost Consultant – Data Center Construction - Remote

Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Consultant to join our data center team. This role is critical in supporting the financial and technical aspects of data center construction projects, ensuring cost control, accuracy, and alignment with project execution strategies throughout the lifecycle.

In Short

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and budgets.
• Integrate cost data with project schedules.
• Monitor and report on project cost performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.
• Support change management processes.
• Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts.
• Engage and manage third-party quantity surveyors.
• Maintain historical cost data and benchmarking tools.
• Lead monthly cost reporting and analysis.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cost engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in cost engineering tools and software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
