Overview

CPH is seeking a full-time licensed Professional Engineer with strong organizational, supervision, and technical skills to manage all facets of a project including business development, client management, project management, presentations, conceptual design, construction documents, and construction administration.

In Short

  • Fulfilling requirements as Engineer of Record for design, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents.
  • Oversight of the project design team including engineers, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Collaboration with other firm engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.
  • Research, interpretation, and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.
  • Development, implementation, and utilization of CPH and client standards and templates.
  • Preparation of specifications, review of shop drawings, and construction administration support.
  • Periodic travel for business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation.
  • Oversight and assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines.
  • Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a P.E. License in Florida.
  • 5+ years of US experience in design and permitting public or private projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding of project process from concept through construction.
  • Ability to exercise good independent judgment in design solutions.
  • Stormwater management, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection system design experience.
  • Effective in providing instruction, teaching, and mentoring.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Superior social, communication, written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to project schedules and budgets.
