Cost Estimator/Constructability Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Cost Estimator/Constructability Specialist, you will provide construction estimates and cost control strategies for Heavy Highways and Heavy Civil infrastructure projects.

In Short

• Develop conceptual, historical, and production-based estimates for projects.
• Coordinate with industry contacts for pricing and bidding conditions.
• Provide structural estimates and risk analysis for construction projects.
• Maintain files of project estimates and supporting documentation.
• Assist clients with estimating services during plan development and negotiations.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field plus 7 years’ experience or 15 years’ experience in heavy civil estimating.
• Working knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative skills with project teams and owner’s representatives.
• Knowledge of state and local construction specifications.
• Ability to use Oracle Primavera P6 for scheduling.
