Overview

The role involves utilizing expertise in operations to improve, develop, and implement best practices within teams by optimizing system usage.

In Short

  • Coordinate and execute the continuous improvement plan while adhering to deadlines.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and document procedures to enhance existing processes or design new ones for the Engineering and Technical Data departments.
  • Support and liaise with other departments on interrelated procedures, ensuring process standardization.
  • Actively participate in data correction within the system.
  • Evaluate, document, and initiate necessary configuration changes in systems.
  • Conduct and document comprehensive user testing during system changes or new versions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within teams.
  • Assist in developing user training materials.
  • Provide on-the-job training in collaboration with the Training department.
  • Monitor KPIs and data quality.

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in technical operations within an airline, preferably in Engineering/Technical Data departments.
  • Experience or certification in continuous improvement is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of AMOS software or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Flydocs or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, Visio), especially Excel (intermediate level).
  • Bilingual (English, French), both oral and written.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
