Overview

The position involves coordinating and managing medical absence claims and work accident claims while collaborating with various stakeholders.

In Short

  • Responsible for managing work accident claims and medical absences.
  • Work closely with external experts and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws.
  • Communicate with various parties to manage claims process.
  • Provide support to managers and employees regarding absence procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date medical absence and claims records.
  • Prepare regular reports on absence and claims trends.
  • Develop best practices for claims and medical absence management.
  • Utilize SAP for record management.
  • Participate in training on company procedures.

Requirements

  • College diploma in administrative techniques or human resource management.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in claims management.
  • Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian laws regarding work accidents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
  • Proficient with Office tools, especially Excel.
