Data Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Data Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms in the cloud. You will work closely with Data Engineers, DevOps, and Analytics teams to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of our data infrastructure.

• Design and implement scalable data architectures in AWS.
• Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval strategies.
• Implement data lake and data warehouse solutions.
• Ensure data security, encryption, and access control policies.
• Implement GDPR, SOC 2, and compliance best practices.
• Monitor and prevent data breaches and performance issues.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and improve query execution times.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and BI Analysts.
• Document data workflows and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS services like Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and optimization.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and Prometheus.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent documentation and mentoring skills.
