Physician's Assistant School Application & Essay Specialist - Remote

Overview

TPAPT is recruiting PA School Application and Personal Statement specialists to work with students applying to competitive PA programs throughout the US. We are looking for PAs with a passion for mentoring to guide PA school applicants on applying to PA school.

In Short

• Meet with pre-PA students on Zoom to help them plan coursework and extracurricular activities.
• Guide applicants on the steps involved in putting together a PA school application.
• Assist in writing personal statements, experience descriptions, and other essays.
• Review applicants' essays and provide written feedback and revisions.
• Coach applicants on the PA school interview process and conduct mock interviews.
• Part-time position varying from a few hours to 15 hours per week.
• Onboarding process to familiarize advisors with the application process.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking are essential.
• Prior mentoring or admissions committee experience preferred.
• Two positions available.

Requirements

• Experience in mentoring or tutoring is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on essays.
• Knowledge of PA school application processes.
• Willingness to conduct mock interviews.
• Availability to meet with students via Zoom.
• Passion for helping students succeed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Contract position (1099).
