SAT Tutor - Remote

Overview

This position involves providing 1-on-1 tutoring for high school students preparing for the SAT and ACT, focusing on measurable student outcomes.

In Short

• Position: Test Prep Tutor (SAT or/ and ACT)
• Independent contractor (1099) classification
• Hours: Up to 10 hours/week to start
• Compensation: $50–$75/hour
• Remote lessons, 60 minute lesson duration
• Lead 1-on-1 SAT or ACT tutoring sessions
• Use diagnostic data to build personalized session plans
• Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress
• Represent the company professionally

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong recent SAT and/or ACT scores
• Confidence teaching all sections of the tests
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable and organized, able to manage an independent schedule
