Overview

The Renewable Energy Advisor serves as a strategic advisor on renewable energy deployment for TNC’s North America climate mitigation program, developing and implementing workstreams to achieve the Conservancy’s goals.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 7 years’ experience in conservation or related field.
• Experience in fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Project management skills with financial oversight.
• Supervisory experience in a collaborative environment.
• Partnership development experience with non-profits and government.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy trends and practices.
• Ability to apply scientific concepts in conservation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Political savvy and understanding of biodiversity standards.
