Overview

Tipping Point Solutions is seeking an initiative-taking, collaborative, and creative professional for an INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER (ID) position. This person will work on a cross-cultural, fully remote integrated team with other IDs, DoD client, Foreign Language Subject Matter Experts (SME), military cultural and policy specialists, and other development team members to design an advanced foreign language course in an eLearning environment with level 2-3 interactivity, as defined by Army Distributed Learning.

In Short

  • Ensure the instructional integrity and educational effectiveness of all training materials produced.
  • Employ adult learning theory principles and foreign language methodology in courseware designs.
  • Collaborate closely with SMEs and other team members in development of storyboards.
  • Design complex level branching and intrinsic feedback loops.
  • Apply proven eLearning best practices for learner engagement.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an eLearning designer/developer of IMI Level 2-3.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in the Instructional Design field.
  • Firm understanding of the ADDIE system of design and evaluation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
