Network Support Technician - Remote

Overview

Tillman FiberCo is building a 100% fiber network to support the next generation of broadband services. We have an incredible opportunity for a Network Support Technician.

In Short

• Monitor, alert, and report on system and infrastructure health.
• Open, review, resolve, manage, and close support tickets.
• Perform troubleshooting steps to triage, investigate, and mitigate system issues.
• Handle customer calls during shifts.
• Track issues to resolution within a ticket system.
• Create Maintenance Tickets in response to Network Maintenance notifications.
• Escalate events based on operational policies.
• Liaise with Vendors for support requests.
• Execute complex support tickets/tasks with supervision.
• Other duties as defined by management.

Requirements

• High School/GED required.
• Basic understanding of IP and FTTX networks.
• Experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems.
• Experience with Office 2016 or later required.
• Ability to research solutions using technical sources.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
