Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) Node.js - Remote

Overview

As a new member of our Fulfillment Team, you will drive the development process of software solutions for ticket creation and dispatch. The Fulfillment Team is one of the three self-organized domain teams at ticket i/O IT, working on online ticketing for events.

In Short

• Support the team in the continuous development and new implementation for generating and validating event tickets and their dispatch.
• Conceive and develop new features: from analyzing requirements to implementing individual development steps.
• Balance solution-oriented, pragmatic, and economical considerations between visionary ideas and optimal software architecture.
• Take responsibility for process monitoring, particularly considering scalability.
• Engage in some operations (DevOps) in collaboration with our two administrators.
• Work under the motto “you built it, you run it,” with support from our Core Team, relying on the advantages of nestJS in the backend and React in the frontend.

Requirements

• Enjoy working in agile teams and work self-organized and responsibly.
• Experience with Distributed Systems.
• Familiarity from frontend to backend, through infrastructure to database.
• Several years of professional experience with Node.js and proficiency with JavaScript (ideally with TypeScript).
• Attention to clean architectures and interfaces.
• Enhance your work with Unit Tests & Co. and use GIT to stay in sync with your team.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methods.
• Fluent in English and good German (at least B2).
• Experience with DDD (Domain Driven Design) or AWS knowledge is a plus.
