Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) Node.js - Remote

Overview

As a new member of our Fulfillment Team, you will drive the development process of software solutions for ticket creation and dispatch. The Fulfillment Team is one of three self-organized domain teams at ticket i/O IT, working on online ticketing for events.

In Short

• Support your team in the continuous development and new implementation for generating and validating event tickets and their dispatch.
• Conceive and develop new features from requirement analysis to implementation.
• Balance solution-oriented, pragmatic, and economic considerations between visionary ideas and optimal software architecture.
• Take on process monitoring, especially considering scalability.
• Engage in some operations (DevOps) in collaboration with our two administrators.
• We work by the motto “you built it, you run it”, supported by our core team with a focus on the advantages of nestJS in the backend and React in the frontend.

Requirements

• You enjoy working in agile teams and work self-organized and responsibly.
• You have experience with distributed systems.
• You are knowledgeable from frontend to backend, including infrastructure and databases.
• You have several years of professional experience with Node.js and are proficient in JavaScript (ideally with TypeScript).
• You have an eye for clean architectures and interfaces.
• You perfect your work with the help of unit tests and use GIT to stay in sync with your team.
• You are curious and unafraid to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methods.
• You speak fluent English and good German (at least B2).
• Experience with DDD (Domain Driven Design) or AWS knowledge is a plus.
