Remote Medical Assistant

Overview

Thriveworks is seeking a full-time Remote Medical Assistant to work closely with the telepsychiatry team and act as a liaison between clients and clinicians.

In Short

• Input client information into an EHR
• Coordinate medical records requests for clinicians
• Process inbound/outbound lab work
• Process refill requests for patients
• Process prior authorizations
• Triage medical questions/requests
• Assist with FMLA/STD paperwork
• Manage high-volume email accounts
• Provide administrative support to medical staff
• Work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active certification as a CMA or RMA
• 7 - 9 years of MA experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Experience managing high volume email
• Working knowledge of business software
• Prior experience with EHR systems
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant practices
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm EST
