The Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring compliance across the innovation, production, marketing, and sale of food, beverage, wine, and agricultural products worldwide.

In Short

  • Interface with Brand and Innovation Teams on new product development initiatives.
  • Review product labels for U.S. (FDA) and international regulatory compliance.
  • Assess regulatory requirements for product innovations and international market entry.
  • Interpret U.S. and international regulations related to labeling and nutrition.
  • Monitor domestic and international regulations and enforcement trends.
  • Research and analyze documents published by government agencies.
  • Draft responses to customer and regulatory inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain compliance tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs on legislation and policy issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Regulatory team.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in domestic regulatory affairs.
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, food science or related discipline preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FDA labeling laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products.
