Associate Packaging Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Wonderful Company is looking for an Associate Packaging Engineer to join their centralized packaging team within Global Sourcing. This role focuses on developing new packaging technologies and supporting existing products while driving cost savings and sustainability initiatives.

In Short

• Collaborate with business units and vendors on packaging initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise for packaging information and analysis.
• Manage multiple packaging projects and provide guidance on designs.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of packaging development experience in CPG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science/Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD tools, preferably ArtiosCAD and Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables.
• Experience with package distribution testing and palletizing techniques.
• Proficiency in lab-scale package testing and data analysis.
• Excellent project management skills in cross-functional settings.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive problem solver.
• Recognized as a Packaging Subject Matter Expert (SME).
