This role lives in the weeds of The L Suite's community-powered AI co-pilot for in-house legal, Lloyd. Lloyd is grounded in the Braintrust — a decade of peer discussions, vetted templates, outside counsel reviews, and benchmarking data from 6,000+ in-house legal leaders.

Other legal AI tools answer "what do we usually do?" Lloyd answers "what does everyone else like us do?" As foundation models commoditize the mechanics of legal work, peer judgment is the differentiator. Lloyd is how we deliver it.

As our Legal AI Product Manager, you'll know Lloyd's 40+ pages of system prompts cold, diagnose thin responses at the right layer (prompt, data, retrieval, or model), track every AI release, hunt down content gaps, and take new features to market with our members and publicly.

In Short

Be User #1: Use your legal background to test and iterate on features.
Build in real time with engineering; no handoff specs.
Ship code and design yourself with Claude Code.
Run design partner programs and evals based on member feedback.
Live inside Lloyd's 40+ pages of system prompts.
Hunt down knowledge gaps and fill them with data.
Track AI advancements and translate them into actionable insights.
Drive activation and engagement through owned channels.
Be Lloyd's most visible advocate through marketing efforts.

Requirements

5–10 years of legal experience, ideally in big law and in-house.
Excited to transition from a pure legal role to a product-focused position.
Experience shipping skills, agents, and workflows.
Stay current with AI technology and trends.
Strong written communication skills.
High agency and comfort in autonomous execution.
Community mindset and passion for helping peers succeed.
