• Provide medical expertise and leadership in assessing clinical necessity and appropriateness of oncology treatments.
• Conduct medical reviews of treatment plans to determine medical necessity and appropriateness.
• Evaluate clinical data and collaborate with healthcare providers.
• Make independent clinical decisions based on established medical standards.
• Provide expert guidance on appropriate oncology treatments.
• Liaise with providers, insurance companies, and patients.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in the development of utilization management protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Board Certification in Oncology.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in oncology.
• Proven expertise in Utilization Management.
• Strong understanding of oncology-specific treatment protocols.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
