Overview

The Senior Consultant for HUD Policy and Programs will support the HUD Technical Assistance and Consulting team at Capital Access, Inc., providing expert consulting, training, and policy expertise.

• Deliver expert consulting and technical assistance to governments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with HUD programs, DRGR, and IDIS.
• Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Critical thinking and engagement with policy topics.
• Experience in grants and performance management.
• Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with affordable housing finance is preferred.
• Knowledge of FEMA programs and environmental review is a plus.
