The Muse is seeking an Email Marketing Manager who will oversee our email program’s strategy, execution, and growth, working closely with various teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

In Short

• Manage the email calendar and coordinate campaigns across teams.
• Build and deploy emails using SendGrid.
• Conduct QA on emails and incorporate feedback.
• Lead communication strategies for different audiences.
• Optimize campaigns through A/B testing and data analysis.
• Partner with Product to grow the subscriber base.
• Monitor performance data for decision making.
• Manage email deliverability and list hygiene.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with email platforms.
• Experience in growing email or newsletter files.
• Familiarity with editorial and branded content.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel.
• Excellent project and process management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
