Telefunding Representative - Remote

Overview

The Telefunding Representative will conduct outbound calls to raise funds for the Metropolitan Opera, working in a flexible, hybrid environment after completing initial training.

• Conduct outbound calls to donors and ticket holders.
• Record call information into the Met’s database.

• Computer proficiency including Teams and Outlook.

Requirements

• Proficient in verbal communication skills.
• Experience in sales or fundraising, preferably in non-profit.
• Computer proficiency and experience with call management software.
• Database experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection.
• Must be able to work 17.5 hours a week.
• Must work at least two Saturday morning shifts per month.
• Attention to detail and patience under pressure.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Alert to any major gift experience during application.
