Scientific Director - Publications - Remote

Overview

This position can be based remotely (working from home) or at our headquarters in Stamford, CT.

In Short

• Responsible for planning, development, and oversight of scientific content.
• Work with Group Scientific Director for strategic medical communication recommendations.
• Lead execution of content development activities.
• Supervise Associate Scientific Directors.
• Liaise with in-house or freelance staff for content-related tasks.
• Conduct background research, data-checking, and reference annotation.
• Requires an advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
• 5+ years of experience in medical publications.
• Experience with established medical editorial processes and ethical guidelines.
• Preferred experience in oncology, notably CAR-T.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD) required.
• CMPP preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant job experience with medical publications.
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data.
• Multitasking and project management skills within tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with professional medical editorial processes (AMA style).
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines (ICMJE, GPP2022).
• Preferred experience in oncology, particularly CAR-T.
