Senior Credit Underwriter - Distribution Finance - Remote

Overview

The Senior Credit Underwriter - Distribution Finance is responsible for analyzing and monitoring credit worthiness of assigned customers/accounts and recommending and/or approving credit within established guidelines.

In Short

• Analyze financial statements and determine customer eligibility for financing.
• Underwrite credit narratives for new and existing loans.
• Review applications, financial statements, and D&B reports.
• Spread business financial statements and tax returns using Moody's software.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and identify cash flow sources.
• Perform collateral analysis on various asset types.
• Run credit reports and analyze KYC information.
• Prepare recommendations for loan approvals.
• Communicate decisions to loan committee.
• Monitor delinquency trends and follow up on financial statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of wholesale/commercial credit underwriting experience.
• Prior credit approval authority is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with deals ranging from $2MM to $10MM.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to make sound business judgments.
• Strong technical skills.
• Master's degree is a plus.
