People & Operations Manager - UAE - Remote

Overview

The Exploration Company is developing a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle and is seeking a UAE People & Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation and growth of its UAE office.

In Short

• Act as the primary HR contact for UAE-based employees.
• Manage the full UAE employee lifecycle including onboarding and payroll.
• Coordinate with PRO services for government processes.
• Oversee office administration and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
• Partner with leadership on organizational culture initiatives.
• Ensure timely payroll operations in coordination with Finance.
• Maintain and optimize HRIS (Personio) for UAE operations.
• Formulate and update HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external events for team building.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in HR/People Operations in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and government processes.
• Experience managing visas and work permits.
• Track record of managing payroll operations in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in office management and operational coordination.
• Ability to manage HR and business operations autonomously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Comfort working in a startup or high-growth environment.
