DNC Legal Internship - Remote

Overview

The DNC Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for future leaders to gain hands-on experience in Democratic politics and prepare for future political opportunities.

In Short

• Internship runs from September 8, 2025 - November 14, 2025.
• Conducted in a hybrid format with in-person options for Washington D.C. area interns.
• Interns must be located in the United States.
• Stipend of $3,000 provided.
• Expected commitment of 20 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include drafting documents and conducting research.
• Eligibility includes being enrolled in or graduated from a JD or LLM program.
• Application materials include a resume, cover letter, writing sample, and references.
• Deadline for applications is August 1, 2025.
• Interns will work with the DNC Legal team on various legal topics.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age by the start of the internship.
• Currently enrolled in a JD or LLM program at an ABA certified institution.
• Or graduated with a JD or LLM no more than two years prior.
• Or graduated with a JD or LLM and enrolled in a non-legal graduate program.
• Commitment to 20 hours per week during the program.
• Physically present in the U.S. for the internship.
