Requirements

• Associate’s Degree.
• Two years of city building inspection or plans examination experience.
• Ability to obtain relevant certifications in fire protection.
• Preferred: Experience with Accela permitting system.
• Preferred: Certified Fire Plans Examiner or similar certifications.
• Technical knowledge of Fire Code and related standards.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to interpret regulations and guidelines.
• Experience in collaborating with construction professionals.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
