Claims Examiner - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for processing medical claims and correspondence.
• Handle customer service calls from members, providers, and clients.
• Process claims in a timely manner with acceptable accuracy.
• Analyze self-funded health plans and use plan language to correspond to inquiries.
• Interpret plan design and analyze claim edits.
• Point of contact for clients and members.
• Work on Customer Service Tickets.
• Requires familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Proficient in PC skills including email and database activity.
• Full-time position with a day shift schedule.

Requirements

• Understanding of medical claims processing guidelines.
• High school diploma with 1-2 years related experience.
• Experience with QicLink is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong communication skills for customer service.
