Clubhouse Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Clubhouse Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of “Clubhouse,” Chapin’s after school program for students in Classes K-5. Under the supervision of the Director of Auxiliary Programs, the Coordinator ensures a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students, while handling administrative tasks and leading program staff.

• Coordinate daily after school classes and extended care for students in Classes K-5.
• Oversee schedule of Clubhouse staff and vendors, ensuring a safe and inclusive program environment.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding program updates, schedules, and registration.
• Monitor student attendance and manage the daily dismissal process safely.
• Maintain communication with Lower School teachers for smooth transitions.
• Support the Director of Auxiliary Programs in recruiting and training Clubhouse staff.
• Manage trimester registration processes, including enrollment and billing.
• Coordinate with the Director on budgetary needs and resource allocation.
• Assist with Auxiliary programs on non-Clubhouse days.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience working with children ages 5-10.
• Comfortable communicating with parents, caregivers, and vendors.
• 1-3 years of experience coordinating child-care programs preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience supervising staff preferred.
