The Browser Company is building a better way to use the internet by developing a unique browser that empowers users. They are looking for a Compiler Engineer to enhance Windows support for Swift and contribute to the broader Swift community.

In Short

• Enhance compiler performance and address performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain and expand support for multiple operating systems.
• Build and maintain custom toolchains on macOS and Windows.
• Drive innovations in Swift and C/C++ interoperability.
• Contribute to upstream LLVM, Swift, and related projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity.
• Work closely with open-source communities.
• Mentor and pair program with newer engineers.
• Participate in engineering discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with language compilers and complex codebases.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS) preferred.
• Passion for build systems and tooling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatism.
• Time zone overlap with Eastern Time Zone is required.
