Senior Software Engineer–Developer (Virtual) - Remote

Overview

The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer–Developer (Virtual) to join the Enterprise Software Products and Capabilities Utilities and Tools team across the US and the globe. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Enterprise Software Engineering and all Boeing Business Divisions.

In Short

• Develop software for a suite of products that provide data translation, data mapping, avionics hardware configuration, and automated code generation capabilities.
• Perform trade studies and grow data platform architecture.
• Lead globally distributed teams in implementation of data platforms.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure data consumption needs are met.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture techniques required.
• Experience with cloud and data architecture in hybrid environments.
• Coordinate projects across multiple businesses.
• Experience with REST services or microservices preferred.
• Knowledge of avionics standards is a plus.
• Complete a technical assessment for selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with data pipeline tools and ETL services.
• 2+ years of experience in relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Production experience with Java and Python.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Experience with data management best practices.
• Prior experience with launching new products.
• Experience in automotive or medical industries relevant.
