Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Materials, Process, and Physics Technical Analyst to support the engineering, manufacture, and sustainment of Boeing products in Seattle and Tukwila, Washington.

In Short

  • Perform tests and assist in analysis of materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Participate in test development and routine analysis of failed parts.
  • Generate data to evaluate failure mechanisms and document findings.
  • Assist in developing and revising documents and technical requirements.
  • Participate in the evaluation and qualification of materials and processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of products and processes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in various engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure conformance to producibility requirements.
  • Work in a laboratory setting performing testing to standards.
  • Provide laboratory service to customers.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or higher, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in operations or project management.
  • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience with flammability testing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics is preferred.
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements.
  • Drug-free workplace policy adherence.
