Overview

The Final Assembly Team Lead at Boeing will oversee the Final Assembly Factory Delivery Team, ensuring effective production assembly operations while leading a team and managing various operational tasks.

In Short

• Lead the Final Assembly Factory Delivery Team in North Charleston, SC.
• Perform complex production assembly operations on aircraft systems.
• Conduct pre-shift planning and crew meetings.
• Monitor daily progress and communicate risks to management.
• Implement Boeing Production System (BPS) metrics and improvements.
• Document and communicate shift turnover effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide training and support to team members.
• Utilize Rapid Problem Solving techniques to address issues.
• Work second shift and be available for overtime as required.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with 787 Operations.
• 1+ years of experience in Velocity and REDARS.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience working within a team environment.
• Formal or informal team leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• 2+ years of Structures/System/Electrical experience preferred.
• Must maintain necessary certifications for the role.
• Must be a “US Person” as per export control requirements.
• Ability to work in a drug-free workplace.
