Overview

As the Finance Team Lead at Evidence Action, you will oversee the US finance team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting impactful global health programs.

In Short

• Lead the US monthly close process and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Administer Evidence Action’s use of Intacct accounting software.
• Prepare for annual global audits and tax filings.
• Support the implementation of improved accounting processes.
• Supervise a team of 3, including direct reports for AP/AR.
• Collaborate with global finance staff for audit preparations.
• Provide insights through financial reporting.
• Work in a nearly paperless environment using cloud-based tools.
• Engage in financial planning and budgeting activities.
• Serve as backup across AP, AR, and payroll functions.

Requirements

• Experience in finance management and compliance.
• Proficiency in Intacct and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP standards.
• Ability to lead and manage a finance team.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in non-profit finance is a plus.
