Associate Propulsion Assembler (Variable Shift) - Remote

Overview

The Associate Propulsion Assembler will join Boeing's Propulsion team in North Charleston, SC, and will be responsible for various assembly tasks, utilizing both manual and automated tools to support production operations.

In Short

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts and mechanical assemblies.
• Use manual and automated assembly tools for tasks such as drilling and sealant application.
• Collaborate with Integrated Build Teams to identify and mitigate performance risks.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems and 5S activities.
• Provide cross training and mentoring to teammates.
• Work variable shifts as required by business needs.
• Support overtime to meet customer commitments.
• Communicate clearly to escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team.
• Follow detailed work instructions and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace as per Boeing policies.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication.
• Experience utilizing detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints.
• 1+ year of experience using software applications like Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
• Must comply with export control requirements as a “U.S. Person”.
