In Short

• Lead teams of associates in audit engagements.
• Apply Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB) to client transactions.
• Conduct financial statement audits for government clients.
• Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget.
• Act as a change agent and support audit tool changes.
• Mentor and develop staff for career success.
• Provide timely feedback to team members.
• Maintain continuing education for Government Auditing Standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. in Accounting.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Understanding of US GAAS and US GAAP.
• Experience with public sector entities preferred.
• Single audit and Uniform Guidance experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and professionalism.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements.
