Senior Full Stack Python Developer with DevOps - Remote

Overview

Ten Mile Square is looking for a talented senior full-stack Python software engineer with devops chops who is passionate about technology to join our growing team of product, technology, and software professionals. The initial assignment for the new position is to develop an industry-leading platform with our existing team at a well-known music industry client. The successful candidate will work with highly experienced team leads and have an opportunity to learn new technologies, while refining fundamental skills.

In Short

• Design and build a portals platform using Python/Django, Vue.js, RDS Postgres, and AWS components.
• Work with tech leads and the product team to determine functional requirements.
• Contribute as a member of an Agile team and promote Agile practices.
• Collaborate with the Ten Mile team on development and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain the confidentiality of clients on an ongoing basis.
• 5 years of software development experience including 2 years of Python/Django.
• 2 years of Vue.js experience and AWS deployment experience.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated to proactively identify and solve problems.

Requirements

• 5 years of software development experience including 2 years of Python/Django.
• 2 years of Vue.js experience.
• 2 years of experience developing and deploying on AWS.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Docker, Terraform.
• Working knowledge of SQL (Postgres).
• Full application stack development experience.
• Full software lifecycle participation.
• Linux command line experience.
• Detail-oriented and high integrity work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
