In Short

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Telly TV OS and core applications.
• Own, review, and maintain high-quality apps, services, and UI/UX implementations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and tools.
• Analyze and improve application performance.
• Contribute to the overall AOSP strategy.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture and codebase.
• Anticipate and resolve operational issues.
• Lead by example while preparing to build and manage a small software team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, NDK, Jetpack components, and Android Studio.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Experience with modern Android architectures.
