Overview

The Senior Motion Graphic Designer at TEGNA will create high-quality motion graphics and animations while collaborating with various team members across TEGNA stations.

In Short

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and other designers.
• Create motion graphics and visual effects.
• Implement new designs from concept to completion.
• Act as a contact for marketing and corporate projects.
• Train new hires and guide team projects.
• Serve a diverse range of clients across TEGNA stations.

• Provide guidance to other designers.

Requirements

• Formal training in design/art at trade school or college.
• Associate or bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years as a Motion Graphic Designer.
• Strong skills in Adobe CC Suite, especially After Effects.
• Demonstrate strong design skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to perform under tight deadlines.
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
• Flexible schedule required.
