Senior PHP Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Back-end PHP (Laravel) developer with 5+ years of experience to join our fast-growing startup from Denmark.

In Short

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and authentication/authorization flows
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing strategies
• Proficient in Git and working with CI/CD pipelines
• In-depth experience with Laravel Nova — building custom tools, actions, and resource management is a strong advantage
• Upper-intermediate and higher level of English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Vue.js, Docker, Redis, or deployment to AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus
• Technical ownership of the web application built with Laravel

Requirements

• Leading the maintenance, extension, and optimization of the platform
• Ensuring the platform is secure and performant
• Participating in system planning, code reviews, and feature delivery from concept to release
