Overview

The Certified Health Education Specialist role is an independent contractor position within the FX Well Events Team, responsible for delivering onsite and virtual wellness events.

• Deliver exceptional service at onsite events in the Baltimore-Washington DC region.
• Opportunity to deliver virtual events remotely.
• Travel to health and wellness events for health promotion activities.
• Act as main Point of Contact at client/partner events.
• Ensure safety precautions during fitness competitions.
• Display a positive attitude and high energy.
• Represent FX Well mission to drive engagement.
• Maintain understanding of FX Well products and services.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relevant health and wellness industry certification required.
• Experience in managing conversations in a professional setting preferred.
• Event experience preferred.
• Personal passion for health and fitness.
• Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Incredible organizational skills.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
