The Behavioral Health Counselor will provide essential mental health services to the Tribal Community as part of an interdisciplinary medical team, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and leading therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• 3 years of experience in behavioral health counseling.
• LMSW, LPC, or LLP with clinical specialty and Michigan license required.
• Knowledge of trauma-related conditions and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Open to Native American cultural traditions.
• Ability to manage crises and intervene in high-risk situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams and general computer skills.
