SharePoint Intern - Remote

Overview

The Community Solution Education System is hiring a SharePoint Intern to join the Information Technology team. The SharePoint Intern will work alongside our SharePoint Administrator to support our Student Gateway website redesign. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Microsoft SharePoint and gain exposure to multiple versions of SharePoint.

In Short

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the Student Gateway website.
• Support content migration, organization, and management within SharePoint.
• Learn and apply SharePoint site customization techniques.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and document specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic SharePoint issues.
• Participate in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide training materials or documentation for end-users.
• Gain hands-on experience working with SharePoint in a professional setting.
• Exposure to IT project management and user experience design.
• Networking opportunities within an educational technology organization.

Requirements

• Junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Some experience or coursework in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SPFx.
• Strong attention to detail and usability focus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Prior coursework or internship experience in SharePoint is a plus.
