Environmental Program Manager (HTRW) - Remote

Overview

Tanaq Environmental, LLC. (TEL) delivers environmental engineering, investigation, consulting, and remediation services to government agencies and private clients in the areas of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Emerging Contaminants remediation, and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and Environmental Compliance support. Tanaq is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Alaskan native community and shareholders.

In Short

• Independent management of HTRW program and contracts.
• Oversight of multiple contract scopes of work (SOWs).
• Supervising project managers and technical staff.
• Primary point of contact for government clients.
• Coordination with safety and quality management staff.
• Monthly budget reviews with the General Manager.
• Achieving revenue and sales goals.
• Regular outreach and team meetings.
• Support marketing and business development efforts.
• Serve as capture manager for major proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience.
• Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers or similar agencies.
• Strong relationship with federal clients.
• Self-driven with proactive contract management skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to obtain clearance for military bases.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field.
