Takealot.com, South Africa’s leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Product Manager to join the Payments team.

In Short

• Building the overall vision and roadmap of the Payments portfolio on all Takealot shopping platforms.
• Participate in shaping takealot.com’s payment strategy.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and executive teams.
• Take responsibility for talks and negotiations with partners dealing with payment services.
• Research the best solutions in the payments market.
• Drive conversion rate optimisation as it relates to online payments.
• Work with business owners to understand their strategy and requirements.
• Define and track metrics that inform decisions on product features.
• Collaborate with technical leads to establish the technical vision.
• Set timelines and drive project schedules.

Requirements

• Proven track record of execution in Product Management.
• Ability to guide junior product managers and teams.
• Solution-oriented and highly motivated.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Avid customer advocate.
• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years Product Management experience.
• Experience in an e-commerce environment is an advantage.
