Senior Financial Accountant / Assistant Financial Controller - Remote

Tabeo is building the ‘Shopify’ for private healthcare. Our platform simplifies payment and marketing services for local clinical providers including dentists, audiologists and opticians. Customers benefit from a quicker, easier access to relevant payment options in one unified check out flow. In addition, they receive access to i) custom landing pages, ii) email & text campaign builders and iii) dashboard to manage leads.

In Short

• Play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare management accounts and oversee financial reporting processes.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead the month-end close process.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and tax filings.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with financial reports.
• Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes.

Requirements

• Big 4 background preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience with UK GAAP and tax laws.
• Ability to work in a fully remote environment.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in cash management and internal controls.
• Ability to mentor junior finance staff.
• Experience with audit processes.
